VOICES IN THE PALACE

NPR has a current article about how current Chinese writers are using the Internet to share some of their work. Mao's Cultural Revolution had suppressed freedom of expression. Although there are still some forms of suppression of thought (blogger.com is currently blocked in China, at least through the Olympic time frame) the Internet is an outlet for many.

Hello Lola: Thanks for commenting on my Blog. I'm surprised you can open blogger as well.
As my visit to China was short, I got only to the Beijing, Xi'an, and Shanghai areas. Where is Guangzhou located?
